I like In the Hunt, a lot but it got nothing on Pulstar or Blazing Star in terms of art. Well, it is all subjective bullshit anyway.
I'm a big In the Hunt fan, but it's not a technical marvel by any means.
Game's got great art direction, which usually doesn't go out of style --regardless of technology.
Pulstar ain't so bad in that department either, I'd just put it lower on the scale; it's a bit more derivative. Nice opening cinematics though! (basically just that chick running, but hey, nice run.)
I'd say Viewpoint holds up better than Pulstar visuals-wise, but that's just me.

Viewpoint is another Neo Geo game that was terrible on PlayStation for no reason at all. It looked better, there were no technical obstacles, it was just sloppy.
The Genesis port was much better than the PlayStation remake.

It actually looked great, but it controlled like shit, the collision was all messed up, and the music was different. Just sloppy work, it should have been great.
