December 2011 Winner: Score Rush
Congratulations to Xona Games for their fantastic game last month! Now, granted, WoW: Cataclysm was left off of last month's list thanks to my own stupidity so there was a bit of a handicap, but they still deserved to win last month IMO.
I realize I'm a little late with this (been busy and my real computer is out of commission), but better late than never, eh? Dead Space 2 is obviously the big title for January, but there are a surprising number of other excellent titles. I don't think this beats January 2010 (which brought us the double whammy of Bayonetta and Darksiders), but it's still a decent selection of good games. My vote is going to ilomilo since it is amazing and everything I could want in a puzzle game.

HA! HA! I AM USING THE INTERNET!!1

Magicka is the only game I played. Waiting on the iphone version of Ghost Trick, and the rest... meh. Two Worlds II when it gets steam saled.

I haven't played a single one of these games, but based on the first I'd think LBP2 is pretty good.
What I played of Dead Space was pretty neat but turned into an annoying fetch quest game too quickly. Played like RE4: Space Mod so it wasn't all bad, but I'll wait on the sequel to get cheap.
I got to like mission 15 or so of Ghost Trick and couldn't be bothered to finish it. Very beautiful game and was a neat idea, but was pretty boring otherwise. Maybe if it had been a physics-based puzzle game that wasn't so rigidly limited and with multiple solutions I would've liked it more.
DCUO was the best take yet on superhero MMOs (and probably superhero games in general), so that's probably second place behind Magicka, which I think looks pretty awesome but haven't played yet.
I can't rep Yoshi
Tough choice between Dead Space 2 and Ghost Trick. Ultimately I had to go with Ghost Trick, it's a unique game with a compelling story and packed, packed to the brim with charm. The animations are just so impressive, and since the game revolves around manipulating your environment, it's really something to see their contextual, reactionary animations play out. Couple it with a good soundtrack and about the most adorable dog in gaming history and I think it gets my vote.
Ghost trick was good, very good (I am 1 chapter away from finishing it), but it is a one trick pony.
Ghost Trick rules. I really hope ilomilo gets ported to PC or something as I don't plan on replacing my dead 360 anytime soon.
