Yeah, but usually (in my experience) it's because you can't find the new console to save your life.

Even the "winning" 360 was down 25% from last year, so it's a pyrrhic victory. I bet most of those BF sales were people replacing old systems. The interest for these systems just isn't there.

There were a ton of consoles sold this generation. Hopefully it's not people getting bored with traditional games. I still love traditional games. With buttons and all of that
I dont think its boredom with traditional games. Anyone who has wanted a ps3 or 360 has had 6 years to get one. Not every person in America is going to want one, but isnt safe to assume that if they did, they probably have one by now?
