Then a NY Senator has to make things worse.

The NY Senator was called a schmuck in that video and i agree with that assessment.

Intrepid Museum should get a shuttle. It being the Enterprise is a good idea. Discovery going to the Smithsonian makes sense. Atlantis going to Kennedy Space Center makes sense. the only one that makes no sense is Endeavour going to California. But thats a geography thing. So Houston will have to make do with the last remaining Saturn V.

I think space exploration and research is better left to the private sector these days. The only reason the US government put so much effort into it was because of the Cold War.
