NoA would be stupid not to follow suit.
From Games Are Fun:Good news.Nintendo represents
The newest issue of Famitsu dedicated to the Nintendo GameCube and Gameboy Advance reports that, even though the company won't be holding its annual Space World show this August, they're still interested in showing off their software at this month's World Hobby Fair. Taking place on July 13th and 14th, the World Hobby Fair is not a large event but some developers, like Sega, use the event to unveil some big titles to the Japanese public. We'll be sure to keep you updated regarding Nintendo's presence over the next few days.
In related Nintendo news, the company hopes to begin passing out sampler discs of upcoming software this fall in Japan. One thing that always held Nintendo back during the N64 error was its inability to provide demoes of new games to consumers, because of the cartridge format. That's all about to change. No word yet on whether or not NoA will follow suit.

You know what? Nintendo Power should start including Gamecube demo discs in each issue ala OPM. At least I'll have an excuse to buy the magazine once again.
But then we'd have to buy The Certified World's Suckiest Gaming Mag to get the discOriginally posted by Johnny Undaunted

True, but at least they could bring back Nester as the demo disc's mascot to compete with the bimbo from OPM.Originally posted by LordPerrin
