This is actually really interesting to me.
I mean, every technology that has ever replaced an old one has put people who built and supported the old technology out of business and you know people who lose those jobs must hate what's replacing them. Really though, I NEVER had the thought enter my head that people who weren't losing their jobs over that technological advancement would actually try to lobby for non advancement and continued waste. It goes against all logic and is, almost, impressive.
