Well, I don't want what Microsoft is selling but I do want what Microsoft is smoking.
I don't understand how MS keeps coming up to the cliff, and decides to jump off. Staying quiet would have been better than this.

Now I'm reading that 1:1 interviews with different gaming outlets have been cancelled. WTF is going on at MS?

It's an interesting strategy. They're banking on consumers having the attention span of a fruit fly, which isn't a bad gamble. After Monday, the headlines on gaming news sites will be dominated by game announcements theoretically, so by getting all of the bad news out of the way, they can start to build momentum. Also keep in mind that a huge percentage of potential customers, though probably not early adopters, don't read any of this stuff. Do you think GameStop is going to be forthcoming with news of DRM when Joe Sixpack wanders in to preorder? That poor schmuck will have no clue until it's too late.
I would imagine this is straightforward stuff, where a family plan is designed from the initial installation and the usernames are added/created right then. It'll probably be a question on the account setup and transfer. When in different locations the primary account always takes precedence and then the first family member account to start up a game can do so, and anyone else who tries to load up a game after that will be told that too many people on the account are already playing.
The authorized location thing is a big load of bullshit.
A couple of supposed insiders on NeoGAF are claiming that MS is trying to pay off 3rd parties to now show their PS4 versions of titles at E3. To try and counter the whole XBone isn't about games thing. Only 2 folks claiming that though, unlike the tons of insiders, including one who hasn't been wrong on anything since before the 360 launched, who are confirming the yield issues and GPU downclocking.
