Very cool. I will play that heavily when I get back from Gen Con Sunday.

  2. Not all of the 360 tables have made it to the One though.

  3. Preview Dash 1409 should be rolling out. Unadvertised feature, plug in a USB Storage device to get the media player.

MKV support isn't in yet, but most other formats work.

  4. Where's my Street Fighter II Pinball FX table for next gen?

  6. Speaking of, that Guardians table is EMBARASSING. I cringe when fake Star-Lord talks.

Shuhei Yoshida: The statement might look aggressive. But the thinking behind it is, we just do not look at one proposition, like EA Access. We look at the whole offering of the titles or services on the platform, and we thought about the impact of having something like that as a new symptom. If every publisher follows suit, and as a consumer you have to choose by publisher which service to subscribe to, that's not something we believe is best for consumers.

So we are not just looking at that one proposition. We were thinking about the impact that might have for the future offering of products and services on PlayStation.

When you buy into something like Access, you can try other things for free and discover other things you like. It’s a way to make sure gamers can get more info on what we do and the diversity of our portfolio.”

Guillemot likens the idea of publisher “Access” subscriptions to television channels. “When you look on your console, you have many channels and you want that diversity,” he says. “Instead of saying everything’s in one place, we can say ‘Okay, try these channels: EA, Ubi, Activision.’

    How predictably awful.

  8. It's not that bad of a deal. Why are you bitching anyways? Go back to your glorious PC gaming.

  9. Alone it's not a bad deal. When everybody starts doing it, it certainly kills what PS+ has going for it, so I can see why the Sony camp would be salty about it.

    I haven't subbed, FWIW.
