Kotaku is reporting that the Xbox refresh may support Oculus Rift. Seeing Oculus and MS cooperate is not shocking considering the inclusion of the Xbone controller with the Rift, but it's an interesting sort of hedged bet to be ready for PSVR without the same level of risk. Of course with a new console required and the higher cost of the Rift, PSVR will be the more affordable option, but it keeps them from being completely left out.
Which leaves Nintendo who, with the Wii, arguably had the most connection to the "look like an asshole waving your arms around" gaming market, left a generation behind again.
