I didn't play it much. It was so...meh

Have had this system since launch and still have only played Resogun and Contrast -- and watched morons on Playroom broadcasts.

Guess I should actually play Killzone, but there are so many things I'd rather be playing. Not exactly a stellar launch lineup.

There are more than enough good games to play. Most are 'cross-gen', but even some of those, like Battlefield 4, don't even begin to compare on a PS3 or 360. That said, this is the second generation in a row where both Xbox and PS launched without a must have next-gen exclusive.

I had way more fun with Resistance 1 than I did with any of the Killzone's, actually. I never played the other two though. At least the guns were relatively interesting.

I totally agree. Assassin's Creed 4 shockingly got me addicted, quickly, to the point where I'm going through and going to try and 100% it. And this is coming from someone who played AC1, 2, and Revelations for a few hours each and quit because I hated them so much. Also, sleeping on Need for Speed if you're into racing games is foolish, the game is a blast and quite pretty as well.

Well you guys aren't exactly motivating me to fire up Killzone.

Also, I lied -- I also played through Flower.

Really want to play AC4 but my OCD won't let me skip to it, and I'm currently only 1/2 way through Brotherhood. Someday.

I guess a good rotation would be AC4, Resogun, and either Killzone: Shadowfall or Trine 2.

I'm not really a Battlefield fan but if you like FPS's I guess that would also be a good substitute for Killzone.

Well you guys aren't exactly motivating me to fire up Killzone.

It really just is a below average (at best) FPS game from what I've played. Even games last gen like Timeshift or Metro had redeeming qualities, while not having the highest production values, had some originality behind them. I haven't found anything redeeming about Killzone except for it being beautiful. Except maybe your little robot buddy, he's kind of neat I guess.

I actually don't think I have ever finished a Killzone game. I played through most of Killzone 1 + 2, and watched a friend play Killzone 3, but never to the credits. I'm not sure if this one will be any different. It's a console exclusive shooter like Killzone that makes me appreciate the killer job that 343 did with Halo 4, and carrying on the series. Because it could have very well been an abortion like what Guerilla Games does with the Killzone games, every time.

I finished 2 due to some miracle. I am now stuck on 3, just can't get motivated enough to play.

At least it's not Resistance.

I've always greatly preferred Resistance to Killzone. I think Resistance had the more interesting settings and situations, I like the guns in Resistance, and R3 was seriously one of my favorite FPS games of the PS3/Xbox 360 generation.

I hate that it's looking more and likely that Resistance may be dead as a franchise, and that Sony is killing R3's online soon.
