I'm starving for a PS4 racing game so I'm getting this despite all the reviews (most of which compare it to Forza...which, IDK, the last time I played really annoyed the shit out of me with it constantly trying to get me to buy stuff...)

It's definitely a launch thing. They were totally fine pre-launch.

That's wonderful, especially now that SEN is a pay service.

Not that I have a dog in the Driveclub race, but seriously it's bullshit when these pay services go down at launch of a big game.

In an attempt to be fair, while we were playing FH2 on launch night not everything worked, designs took forever to download, drivatars were iffy, but we could download and play the main game and online with others.

I said fuck it and went ahead and got the full version of Drive Club. I've been wanting a good racing game, as I loved Forza and it was the only thing I really missed not going with Xbox. Gotta say I am glad I went ahead and got it. I can't compare it to FH and it's a different kind of game from Forza so I can't really compare it to that, but I loved what I played of it tonight. The game looks amazing. The lighting is incredible, the details are great and the dynamic lighting/slight weather changes are really cool. The gameplay feels great and I like the little mini challenges during the race. Sucks the game has had some launch trouble, but I highly recommend trying out the free version whenever the hell it actually becomes available.
