I had written up something mildly clever but decided to axe it.

The world has and is changing and this is one further example. Not too long ago models of any variety just kind of disappeared. A rare few might marry someone famous. The vanishing part was double true for nude/porn models.

But technology has changed that.

I found this today while reading shitty blogs looking for info on an old B movie about frogs killing people.

Kind of work safe. Kind of not. Does your work have problems with you looking at clothed porn stars?

I remember seeing her when I first got the net. Like back when you could get a Saturn net link?

And now...man.

The Saddest thing is her husband. What a grease ball. He looks 20 years older than her and listen to the shit he says. He talks about her like she's a horse a dog.

uh, it means I've been drinking for 3 hours.

But I'll try again. There are a few key ideas.

1. Technology has made people's lives more transparent. And it has made people visible for much longer. 20 years ago this person would have vanished. There would not have been any documentaries about any part of her real life. She'd been in some dirty mags and some videos and that would be that.

2. This kind of changes the game. Life is less segmented and separated.

3. How does it make you feel that you can now look at the withered husk of some girl you rubbed it out to when you were 15 (not this girl specifically. this video just inspired the thread).

Theres a lot of stuff to talk about. Hell, just watch the video. Does it not make you have any thoughts? Nothing to say?

EDIT: Think of it this way. Have you ever thought a girl in an ad was cute? Well now you might be able to go find other stuff she has done. Or maybe you thought a host on a B grade show was cool, but then it got canceled. But now you can keep track of that person. You can read their blog and keep up with what they do next.

And in the case of the porn star, you learn stuff you might not have wanted to know. You get to see them get old. You might get to see some of their real life. The fantasy dies a little bit. Maybe that is good, maybe that is bad. What do you think?

So, summary, the thread is about change, technology, increasing transparency, decreasing segmentation, and easier access to information.
