I think the game being a little different presentation-wise (and not with stupid Piantas, those were the worst) would help a lot.

This game is a reminder that Nintendo can do rad shit, but chooses to be a dumb asshole.
Truth. Every time I'm ready to write off Nintendo completely they release something like this.

I thought it was pretty good (for the most part, I liked it more than Galaxy as I though it was closer to a 2D game). But I wouldn't go nuts over it.
