Just curious/getting opinions about what people feel would be the best method(s) to save/store (including ease of use/accessibility) for storing & burning 500+ CD's that I've accumulated over many, many years. iTunes? The Brennan? Softsqueeze? Thanks for any input.
That's where I put all the jewel cases, thanks. :P
What, you just want to rip your CD collection to your computer?
Rip them with EAC and organize them with iTunes or whatever program you prefer.
Trying to take everything into consideration: taking them with me (whether that's hiking or in the car), playing them through home audio (not PC/MAC), quality of files, size of files, length of time to burn/store, etc... iTunes is okay - just wondering what else is out there or what else people use.
No matter what criteria you use; home, hiking, car, anywhere, a giant, unsearchable CD collection is completely prohibitive.
You can easily have high quality rips of all your music organized and instantly available to you in any situation.
Protip: you don't burn them yourself unless they don't exist online
PS - they do

Rip your CDs with EAC. Place mp3s on any portable audio device. Listen to your perfectly ripped music anywhere. The end.
