Best options for storing 500+ CDs

I used to take two sleeves of cd's and four or five books with me when i'd pack for vacation. Now I've got my iphone, my ipod in my cargo pocket, my slim ass kindle in my backpack, and I don't know what the fuck else I need to bring with me as carry on luggage.

I got a Google Music beta invite and I gotta say it's pretty sweet. Awesome organization and gets me my music very quickly. There's even an app for Android phones which means when I switch phones in September I'll be able to carry my whole collection with me online. The one catch is uploading music takes FOREVER.

If you use Chrome, make sure to get the "Better Music Beta" extension. Takes you to the software, lets you pause/advance/shuffle/repeat thumbs up/down, integrates with Last.fm, and gives notifications on song changes.
