Thread: What Are You Playing (Summer 2011)

  1. Been getting back into Culdcept Saga. I was worried it might not be the best game ever anymore. It is, though.

  2. PSX Street Fighter Alpha 3's "World Tour" mode (pointless, but the 1 v 2 stuff is cool), getting ready to start on Rival Schools and maybe some Sega Genesis business. All this G&G talk in the completion thread has me wanting to check that out again.

Funny how Alpha 3 kept the Alpha Counters but made them completely irrelevant. V-ism's kinda dumb, a lot of the changes to characters feel sort of cheaply done and arbitrary. The whole presentation feels very 'cash run' after 2.

    Great announcer, though!

  3. I enjoyed World Tour on PSP.

  4. Do they switch it up and give you two different characters to fight at the same time, or is it pallate-swap clones?

Kinda wanna play that one because of Eagle and Maki.

  5. I think they did on PSP, but on PSX, probably not. Memory and all.

  6. #116
Kadewa: agreed. The game is much better than the release we got. I also loved that I named my dude "God" so the angel was saying shit like, "Go forth, Lord God, and destroy the Dark Lord Satan!"

  7. I played K.C. Munchin for a few minutes.
There's an autistic kid (I think he's 12) who comes in with his dad every week and the kid loves old stuff. We got an Odyssey 2 in a couple weeks ago and I was telling him about it. He really wanted it, but it didn't work. I had one at my house so I told them if they wanted it, I'd sell it.
Brought it in today and hooked it up. Everything is fine until I start the game and try to move right. Nothing happens. Every other direction works, but not right. Figures.

So I cannibalized a controller from the broken system and hip hip hooray, my system now worked perfectly.
Kid just came in and was overjoyed.

It's little things like that that make dealing with assholes 95% of the time bearable.

Yeah, I know. Cool story and all. Fuck off.

  8. Got a shitload of shit on my plate that I'm going through like a fuckin' turtle.

    Right now:
Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky (Been stuck on this for months and haven't had free time to do the last dungeons)
    Final Fantasy IV PSP
Pinball FX 2 (Captain America & Wolverine Tables)
Pac Man Galaga Dimensions (Short spurts of Pac man championship edition on the go - Yey! My score still sucks ass though)
Catherine PS3 (Stuck on the 2nd level - pathetic)
You don't have to be smart; you don't have to know the facts, you just have to be confident.

Seriously, go fuck yourself. When I bought my house, I decided I am not putting up with anybody's bullshit anymore and I'm not pussying out and using ignore anymore. If you don't like my posts, don't read them and put me on ignore, problem solved. Life is too short for this shit. There's plenty of other good posts here and I get along with most people here. Hell, even the trolls (you know who you are) who hate my ass on this place have good drops of things to say from time to time.

Ban me if you want, I contribute just like anyone else, like it or not. There's also tons of other forums I can go to, and that I am a part of where people respect me and my posts. But you'll miss me if you ban me, mark my words. It's the banned people or banned people on the edge or the controversial posters that make these places interesting. You know I'm right.
