I'm not a devious man by nature... but when you're unarmed, your tactics might gonna be downright Archimedean.

  2. Based on the other stuff Gearbox has done, Borderlands was a lot better than it deserved to be.
    Cautiously optimistic.

  3. Had a lot of fun co-opping the first one.

I hope they throw out the premade characters and have a nice character editor and a bunch of different armor to find that shows up on 'em when equipped. More loot than just the guns would be ace.

  4. I enjoyed the first one but got bored of it halfway through the first DLC. I'll probably skip this.

  5. Oh goody

  6. The first is a good game that, at times, threatens to be great without ever quite getting there. I have a feeling the sequel will focus too much on expanding what needs no expansion (MORE GUNS! BIGGER WORLD! MORE MISSIONS! MORE CLASSES!) instead of improving what needs improvement (something interesting to do with unneeded loot, variety in mission objectives and weapon behavior).

  7. The general knoxx audio tapes were ace.

He got some wild, wild life

  8. When the hype was building for the first game, and all the talk of the thousands of KERRAAZZZYY randomized gun combinations manifest, I was expecting more on the lines of the weapons available on a Ratchet and Clank game. Homing lightning bolts, a gun that shoots alligators that shoots rockets, etc. What we got were a few unique stand-outs, but mainly guns with slight variations in rate of fire, DPS, clip size, etc. I hope the sequal puts a lot more variety to the gun porn. I also hope they actually tone down some of the "rpg elements". The way the system worked on the original was that your level in relation to your target mattered as much, if not more than the quality of your weapon. It was frustrating finding a powerful gun and watching it all of a sudden do single or double-digit damage simply because the target was ahead of you in levels.

Even with those complaints, I loved the game to death, and I can't wait for the sequal.

  9. I liked the DLC more than anything else, but I totally missed out on all the co-op.

I'll play this one just because I'll be able to get it on Steam when it comes out and people are playing it.

  10. #10
They absolutely need more guns. Dirty South hit it on the head. You can NEVER have too many guns, specifically crazy unique ones. More guns and more interesting missions.
