  2. There's nothing wrong with Windows, and most people use it so I believe they would like something sweet to run it on. Do not turn this into an Apple vs. PC thread por favor.

  3. I didn't mean it like that, I just feel like Apple has put a TON of effort into making their operating system work beautifully with their laptops. I don't see that with windows.

  4. Blade = the future of PCs? Someone at Kotaku thinks so.

  5. Dude wants locked down platforms for the PC market? That's not what this machine is or should be.

I'm assuming that the programmable buttons are just like the ones on the netbook that they showed along with this gaming laptop, the one that has programmable images on the keycaps. It's not quite as cool or as efficient as the OLED keys on the Optimus Maximus keyboard, but it must be far cheaper to make. The actual keys are just transparent and sit on top of a touchscreen LCD.

Something like that could be placed on a tablet easily enough. It would make a cool accessory for programs that benefit from tactile feedback, like emulators.

  6. there is a keyboard called Optimus Maximus?

Is there one called Lord Nerdlinger too?
