So Sega has decided to let their arcade studio make a console game again. The bad news is, it's a Kinect-exclusive. The good news is, it looks like a pretty interesting Condemned-meet-House of the Dead affair made by HotD alumni and might actually be pretty fun. I don't have a Kinect and I doubt I'll get one, but if I did this would be one of the few games in the give a fuck list.

I was hoping no one would ever give this game (or any other Kinect one) a thread.

Sega can fuck off if they have time for this but not a House of the Dead 4 or Rambo port.

HotD4 would make a nice PSN Move title. Couldn't cost too much to port, really. Wouldn't surprise me if we see it eventually.

I felt pretty weird when I saw the first footage for this. Like, oh man, it looks like a HotD game that isn't by those Overkill guys! Oh man, it's a Kinect game. Oh, man.

Seems really, really slow, but, yeah, it looks way more promising than any other Kinect game.

I was watching the play vids on JP XBOX Live. It basically is Zombie Revenge mixed with Zeno Clash. Looks like a pretty decent arcade game but destined for $19.99 bargain bin within a month.

The game basically plays like a fairly slow HotD, and so far the controls are very frustrating. I think it's an issue with the spacing (I'm about 7 feet from the tv and it keeps asking me to move back), but the other games I've tried did not have these issues. When you swing or punch it does represent the spacing where you swing but having to put a foot forward to move and turning your shoulders to turn feels very clunky. I'm not that far in at all but we'll see if things iron themselves out.
