What would you suggest adding to offset the added saltiness?

that flavor packet is what's salty, so only add half of it. that's what I do, comes out better.

I like Suzu Noodle House in Japantown a lot! If you go down to the peninsula make sure you hit Ramen Dojo in San Mateo, it is one of the top places in the country and books say so, my peninsula friends tell me.

When I was living in Sunset, I liked Saiwaii Ramen a lot. I mostly went there for sushi, though. Sunset's got some good food! Durian milkshakes, too. :d

Sweet, I'll check it out. I've only been to Ebisu on 9th and Irving and it was super mediocre. I also have been to Ramen Dojo in San Mateo and it fuckin' rules.

You should check out Turtle Tower in the Richmond... It's pho, not ramen, but that shit is mad good. Perfect hangover cure.
