Million Dollar Mind Game

For the last few weeks, ABC has had a pretty awesome game show called Million Dollar Mind Game on at 4PM on Sundays.

MDMG has 6 contestants working together on solving riddle-type questions (NOT trivia like Millionaire) and working up a money ladder. The team gets a minute to deliberate for an answer, and the current team captain answers the question after the minute is up. There are three lifelines including "Switch the question" similar to Millionaire, "Change the answer" to second-guess the captain, and 30 seconds of extra time. If they give a correct answer, the team votes to either stay or just go home with the money (a "go home" vote must be unanimous). While you cannot just "walk away" at will, it takes four incorrect answers to lose and leave with nothing. The set has a unique, classy look compared to the usual game show- it's kind of like a luxury high-stakes casino that 007 would go to, and the contestants are in formal attire.

Today's one was the season finale, but I'm looking forward to more of this. MDMG kicks ass. This last one had Jeopardy champ Brad Rutter on the team.
