Horse Meat: Yay or Neigh?

I ate raw horse meat on many occasions in Japan, it was good stuff. Not sure how it would taste cooked though.

I've never wanted to eat a horse, but I've got no problems with other people eating it.

Dolphin contains tons of mercury, you do not want to eat it.

I've had horse meat before. It's got a sort of bitterness, from all the iron maybe.
It would be good on sandwiches.
