So what is this thing? Turns out it's an episodic scripted drama, written, directed, and starring Louie, with a cast that includes Steve Buscemi, Edie Falco, and Alan Alda, with original music by Paul Simon. It's a multi-camera shoot, mostly on one set, and feels a lot like a play (even has an intermission).

Go figure.
