Why anyone would want to see 30-somethings "Get the punk band back together" is beyond my comprehension. You were either there when it was happening and awesome, or not. I'm like this about everything - I literally seem to be missing the portion of the brain responsible for nostalgia.

    Exactly.

...but, the Myans did predict it, so it'll probably be AWSUM!!
It is good to carry some powdered rouge in one's sleeve. It may happen that when one is sobering up or waking from sleep, a samurai's complexion may be poor. At such a time it is good to take out and apply some powdered rouge.

  2. I just hope they rerelease the records.

    ^that.

I'm really excited because I like TMV better than ATDI, but I imagine that some TMV influence will make its way into their playing. No way am I going anywhere near Coachella, but I hope they do a show in SF or something.

    LOL

ATDI reunion is whatever because Mars Volta sucked so horribly after the first album but Refused reuniting at a giant stupid festival is hilarious in relation to whatever they claimed to have stood for.

  5. I tuned out to TMV after the first few albums. Shit got tedious. Still, having a chance to see ATDI live has me happy.

I really like ATDI, but uhh... icarusfall is right.

The only people going to see, say, the Pixies right now are old farts trying to re-live their youth.

It's convenient, how these bands get back together when their fans have money to spend.

  7. I don't think that's fair, though it certainly is convenient.

  8. I liked these guys back in junior high. Don't really give a shit about them anymore.

At The Drive In will now be playing The American Airlines Center at $85 a nosebleed.

I saw the Pixies a few months ago. I regret nothing.
