Thread: Things To Do, Boston Edition

  1. Things To Do, Boston Edition

Planning to take a trip to Boston when the weather gets nicer for a few days. Besides seeing a show because it's cheaper than Broadway and you don't need to dress up, what's fun up there?

  2. Go the week of PAX East and hang out with TNL nerds

Dress up like a wild injun and throw stuff in the harbor.

That's about it. Granted this could happen in any city.

Wear a Yankees hat and a Jets jersey imo. Most fun I've had was wearing a Cowboys hat and Devils jersey in that shit hole of a city, Philly.

  6. Oh boy, interacting with sports fans. Great tip.

Check out Boston Common/backbay area (Newbury street for some decent restaurant and overpriced shops, nothing to get too excited though for NYCers).

Harvard/MIT? People seem to like to check those out, but I don't understand the fascination.

    Aquarium, maybe.

  8. You're Asian, didn't you go to MIT?

  9. Catch a game at Fenway. It's an awesome stadium and there are awesome bars close by.

You can do the Freedom Trail and check out Paul Revere's house.

If you have time and depending on when you go, you can drive to the Cape (Hyannis). However, if it's super nice outside/in-season, traffic will suck huge amounts of donkey dicks.

    Walking around Boston Commons.

Go to the Bull and Finch Pub (the bar that inspired Cheers).

Don't go to Cape cod in the summer, much less January. Jersey Shore (laugh all you want) have way better beaches than CC.
