The 14th nears and while I maintain my single status I still despise the Holliday, I have potential mates but I choose to ignore the day and honor Black History Month instead. The Irony is I love the color pink and upside down hearts look like posterieurs. How will you celebrate this day of love/hate?

I choose to pretend that this holiday does not exist, and for the most part I usually forget about it, until somebody mentions it. Valentines Day? Who cares? There is nothing wrong with being single.

Right now, I'm pretty damn content with my career and just hanging out with friends in my free time. If I meet somebody, then great. If not, then no big deal.
I don't mind it at all, especially when it falls on a weekday.
I've never actually done anything relating to the holiday, but the day after is an awesome time to buy cheap sweets.
