It looks good too expensive atm. You got to rub elbows with Meltzer?
The new UFC title is coming out tomorrow (I should have a full review both on TNL and the Wrestling Observer site). I go into this a bit in the podcast that comes out next week, but I think fighting games could learn a lot from the way UFC Undisputed 3 handles tutorials and teaches the player to instantaneously analyze the situation and react. The game is continually reminding you of your options, how to pull off your moves, what your strategy could be. It lets you build up a fighter piece-by-piece and move-by-move in such a way that you gain a deep appreciation of which moves work in which situation and how to control the space around your opponent.
I was pretty surprised at how good the game is, since the last time I played an MMA game it was the boring demo of UFC on the Dreamcast. Anyone else planning on playing this? Korly?

I received a personal e-mail from Meltzer and a bulk e-mail from Wade Keller on the same day. I guess doing the wrestling game reviews on TNL is paying off.
I offered the Observer a review and I got this back:
Almost sig-worthy.Yes, you definitely can do it.
Dave
It must be, Wade and Dave are great writers congrats.
This game needs DOA Extreme ball physics.
HA! HA! I AM USING THE INTERNET!!1
My Backloggery
I have never played any of these games.
I one day would maybe like to try one.
Congrats on getting your review on the Observer site. Mine's up on game-over.com now. Also, you can get 3 months of the UFC.tv premium service by going to the UFC Facebook page, clicking on the left-hand side Valentine's Day link, and following the instructions to redeem a promo code.
