He "destroyed" a journeyman career backup, a guy who showed his true colors the second he left Andy Reid, and a guy who was instantly replaced by a rookie and wound up a Raider?

It's absolutely true that he's a terrible teammate, but he made at least two of the three guys you named look way, way better than they really were.

  2. So what's the most likely outcome in Sea?

Old guy (cut from the Arena League for attitude issues) turns T-Jack/Flynn into Brady? Or he destroys Flynn's/Wilson's development?

This guy undercuts QBs every chance he gets. Not what's needed for a team w/shaky QB situation.

There's only one outcome in Seattle. They go 6-10 or worse and miss the playoffs, despite playing in the NFL's worst division. However, having Owens makes them a better team than not having him. Maybe the other teams won't be able to put 11 guys, 6 cheerleaders, and the team trainer in the box against Lynch this season.

edit: And Jackson will be the one that gets cut.

  4. I'm not sure. I'm glad to have TO but as he gets up in age he stops putting up with mediocre QBs. If everything bounces Seattle's way they could make the playoffs (they've had OL continuity issues for a while but their potential there is high). TO has to know that in Seattle he can start if he performs in practice. Most teams that would have signed him wouldn't have let him start. Part of that is Seattle's lack of top-end receiving corps (but I think their low-end is pretty good).

Seattle has three QBs that have not proven they can consistently produce but they also have three QBs that work hard.

  5. Matt Flynn will be this year's Kevin Kolb.

I agree with that. The Packers are the new 80s 49ers. You can plug any asshole in at QB, and he'll look amazing because of the system and the surrounding talent.

Marshawn Lynch will need to continue to Put da team on his back doe.

  9. My personal opinion is that even with a better line (let's assume), Lynch won't put up the same numbers as he did the last half of last season. That was a beastly performance behind such an OL. I think the line will be better and he'll be a decent runner.

  10. If the OL is better, and he's only 9mo removed from a good performance behind a worse OL, and he's sporting a full off season and camp, why do you think he regresses? $$$? The DUI? Age? (I'm not trying to be disagreeable, just curious.)
