A Senko no Ronde type game with characters 8-way running on the ground instead of flying, hurling magic spells instead of bullet storms. It's what I'd like, but I know that isn't it.
Maybe a Mr. Driller x Mega Man x Sonic platformer?
Then again, Namco x Capcom x Sega does seem more likely as a sequel to that turn based strategy game on PS2. Meh.
