That's... The complete opposite of what i usually hear.
Dead Space 2. I'm actually surprised... the first one was so overrated but this one is way better.

I liked them both quite a bit.
I liked neither.
Playing Rage. It's okay.
"I've watched while the maggots have defiled the earth. They have
built their castles and had their wars. I cannot stand by idly any longer." - Otogi 2
First one was okay. Good shooting but way too long and devolved into Doom 3-style monster closets too often. The second game... I'm probably about halfway done and it's just paced better, the environments are better, and the new enemies require new strategies. I also find it way creepier than the first game. The school section was unsettling. It's really good!
I enjoyed both DS games immensely. I even liked Extraction.
I'm finishing up Dragon's Dogma. After about 80 hours, it's just a matter of getting what trophies I can before taking on the final boss. I want to get the other bosses before I end it, and I might do the next playthough right after, but it'll be straight through without any side quests.
Aside from that, I'm playing a shit ton of NES! Who needs modern consoles when you can blow on cartridges and spend cash on alcohol and Q-Tips!![]()
Knights in the Nightmare on the DS. This game is CRAZY. I need something light to play through while I wait for Gravity Rush, not the most complicated and ridiculous mishmash of shooters, strategy games, and tic-tac-toe. It's really good but I don't think I can get up in them guts right now.
HA! HA! I AM USING THE INTERNET!!1
My Backloggery
That game gets intense. I still have no idea if I was playing it right.
Who blows on carts? This is 2012, son, clean and repair your stuff!
On topic, spent the past few days playing through Zelda 2. It wasn't a huge challenge since I had played through it a year or two ago and I still remembered most of the secrets, but it was still fun. Oddly, this seems to be the first time I ever beat it using my actual cartridge, I must have been playing on the Powerpak or something before. I had other save games at the end, but nothing that had beaten it.
Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom NES- When this first came out I had moved onto SNES/Genny and pretty much brushed off the NES, never even noticed how different the game looked from it's predecessors. A blast to revisit so far. Loving the double sword and lack of enemy respawn, hating the limited continues.
99Seconds Dsiware- 99Bullets was a interesting shooter hurt somewhat by slowdown and inability to fire off multi-directional shots with ease. Seconds alters the concept to Ikaruga's dot eater or Geometry Wars pacifist mode and distills the design to a clean and very effective minimal look (with no slowdown). Addictive so far in short bursts.
Art of Balance Touch 3DSware- Eshop continues to carry the system for great original content. Every bit as addictive as the Wiiware version with some modest reservations. The touch controls are cramped compared to laid back Wiimote usage and developers continue to struggle hard with 3DS graphics. In this case lighting effects are subdued and water looks more like a pool of mercury.
