Korly brought a copy of GameGo from Gamestop(was Babbages) to the Smoothy Stand, and we both signed up for the forums that night. They were nuked/toasted and I got to drop the 0r off my name and be a functioning member of this board.

Josh: if I'm remembering correctly, the forum crashed/was hacked/something, hence the current forum's birth in 2002. Gamego went down well before then, so you probably remember the original format of the site, it didn't change much.

Of course, we've established that I'm an old fuck, and my memory isn't what it used to be. I honestly don't remember a whole lot from the age of 18-25, and I never drank or partied or anything.

I chatted with huge walls of texts with typos, grammar and spelling mistakes. And I was probably a lot nicer. Someone else will have to confirm that.

I started with GameFan then to GameGo and then here. I remember at least 2 full board crashes, I think the first was on GameGo. We had to Think Of The Database a lot back then. Those early days were so innocent.

And yes, your writing and grammar have come a long way. I remember reading some of your ICQ messages and having no clue what you were talking about, it was like a foreign language.
