In the end they both released retail and I would've been better off giving them $0.

That Shankar game is lovely and fantastic. I was genuinely surprised by how nice it looks, how nice it sounds, how nice it plays. I know they put a lot of their own money into it, but it puts Uncle's efforts to shame. I wish i gave a billion dollars to this instead of Uncle's game even though it probably wouldn't have made much of a difference overall, it just deserves praise and good things.
It certainly is a nice game. It's newer Rayman-nice. I feel like i got my money's worth even after sinking too much into it.
A nice game.

I honestly prefer it. Far less travel time with just as much exploration. It also now makes a little more sense to have new areas when they're not right outside town.
I mean having the map menu to select levels isn't the issue as much as the fact that the levels are a linear succession of self-contained areas. I miss the more open levels of Risky's Revenge.
Torment: Tides of Numenera comes out today for all you backers and Planescape: Torment fans.
look here, upon a sig graveyard.
Bloodstained has been moved over to the Switch, the Wii U version is no more. Wii U versions automatically become Switch version, you can change to another version or ask for a refund. I backed this for a Wii U version, I have a Switch. That said though this game is looking fucking horrendously bad. I found the demo boring and ugly and nothing they've shown since gives me any confidence in it, so I think I may just ask for a refund.
Maybe there's a reason this guy stuck to Game Boy.
When games like Ori exist it's tough to look at this and feel good about it.
I thought that demo with the ship level in the rain looked pretty good. Maybe I had lower expectations?
Some of the early stuff looked pretty nasty but it seems like they've gotten better.
