So, it looks like Dylan Bundy is getting promoted to high-A Frederick. Good thing, too. He's apparently not being challenged enough at low-A Delmarva. Check out his stat line: 8 Games (1-0), 0.00 ERA, 40K in 30 innings. He only allowed two unearned runs, two walks and five hits in those 8 games.
I give him 2 years at most before he's in the bigs.

Happy with the way the Mets are playing but they are about to hit the toughest portion of the 2012 schedule (Phils, Cards, Yanks, Rays, Orioles..etc). RA Dickey came out to the Game of Thrones theme. I love that guy.

Jays have a hilariously awful road trip, going 1-5, and surrendering 34 runs against the amazing Rangers. Back to .500 they go.
Anyway, tonight I'm going to my first Jays game of the season. They face off against the red hot Orioles.

It's only gonna get funner
Hamels slays the Mets today despite giving up a couple of 2 run homers. He came out of the gate real tough but the Mets hitters forced him to throw some bad pitches by hitting lots of fouls (and the ump looked like he squeezed him a bit on some 2 strike pitches). I was made aware of the fact today that since Charlie Manuel has been the Phillies manager, the Phils are the best road team in the MLB.
That Justin Turner industry looked nasty. I can't recall seeing a baseball player in so much visible pain outside of Buster Posey getting hurt last year. Sounds like it may have just been an ankle sprain though. Hate to see a guy get seriously hurt like that.

So Doc is down 6-8 weeks with a sore shoulder. Expect longer. Also Curt Schilling could lose all his cash that he saved from his playing days due to his wanting to be a vidjagame CEO.
