Hey, you know what? I voted for Metal Gear Solid. It was a pretty great game! I also voted for SOTN. Konami really killed it in that era.

ANYWAY. MGS takes the core concepts from a pair of 1987 and 1990 2D games and moves their ideas forward into 3D in a very satisfying way, to the point of being voted the best game on the system it appeared on first.
