Descent and Jumping Flash! used the 3rd dimension better than any 3rd person action game, FWIW.

I just had the sudden urge to play Soul Blade, that game was ridiculously awesome and nobody ever talks about it because of Soul Calibur. Alas, I sold my copy ages ago. Namco, why you no have it in psn.

I hardly see how Yeller poking you guys with a stick and talk of UU and System Shock is on topic in a thread originally intended to chat up cool PS1 games.

The innovations of a Playstation game were brought up in the context of the medium in general. I don't see how it's off topic to compare a PS game to other games in that case. But yeah, I did make the mistake of thinking a real discussion might happen with Yeller.
