I never had it freeze. I did encounter the odd kanji and the infrequent text going outside the box. ): What is this, Atlus, are you trying to make Vic Ireland look good?

There've been a few strange little bugs (like stray hiragana phrases), but no freezes yet thankfully. And I'm about 40 hours in.
Once you open up the pet shop and do the side quests, this game really opens up!

The whole bit with Romero and Dr. Thrill is my favorite bit of voice acting in any game ever.
