Thread: This Month's Haul: May 2012

  1. This Month's Haul: May 2012

My planned computer upgrades for 2012 started a bit early when my video cards went on the fritz, so I'm running with it.

About ten days ago, I replaced my ailing BenQ FP241W with a BenQ XL2420TX display with built-in 3D emitter. That purchase finally spurred me to play one of the most prominent entries in my pile of shame: Arkham Asylum.

Today, I should be receiving my new Crucial solid-state SATA drive. It's only a 128, but with prices falling, I'm going to hold off on a larger drive for at least a few months.

Up next: a new disk drive and maybe a new processor. That should take me through at least part of 2014

  2. A vita to celebrate the restaurant blowing up.
    Boo, Hiss.

  3. Castlevania sotn
    Castlevania Chronicles
    Awesomenaughts
    Trine 2

    All free from Plus
Korly-"Everyone here is an asshole, SURPRISE!"

  4. Velocity, Floating Cloud God Saves the World, Trine 2, and Awesomenauts for free. As far as paid content goes, I spent $6 on the Urbanix/Jewel Keepers bundle and $6 for Legend of Dragoon. The PlayStation Store rules.

  5. So we're still listing extended rentals in the haul thread? Interesting.

Thanks for the tip on Trine 2, though. I forget to check Plus's weekly deals sometimes.

  6. Dodonpachi Blissful Death since it was $4.99 this week, and

  8. I also picked up the Castlevania games, Velocity, and Floating Cloud God Saves the Pilgrims from PlayStation Plus. I already own Trine 2 on Steam.

  9. $140 for a refurbished Kindle Fire from Amazon as part of their deal of the day.
