Wow. That's wild, especially since this prototype was also in the US.

Wouldn't the more likely explanation be that that picture that they thought was the Black Belt was actually the Pluto? Especially in light of the fact that they hadn't explained the cart slot on it and there doesn't seem to be anything conclusive identifying it as such?

The most likely explanation is that they reused a shell. It's not exactly an uncommon practice.
