Gunpei Yokoi's involvement in Metroid has been GREATLY exaggerated over the years.

Yeah, EVERYONE credits Gunpei Yokoi with Metroid, because everyone knows who that is even, unlike that Miyamoto fellow who never gets any credit for all those games he had a producer credit in. I've never seen a person with more undeserved credit than Gunpei Yokoi EVER.

Nintendo has explained why it decided not to include online multiplayer in Wii U launch title Nintendo Land.

Developers wanted to encourage players to interact in the real world, with the virtual theme park's attractions specifically designed for players sitting next to each other.
