I had a bitch of a time beating the Speeder Bike level. Almost could never do it. Never really looked up this game for about 15 years. There's a level 9? That stupid POS bike part was like level 3 and I had tremendous difficulty jumping across the damn pits

Yeah but I would always do this stupid weird thing where it wouldn't jump that far. I don't really remember. Either way I lost all my damn lives on that stupid part 90% of the time.

Speeder bike level was mostly memorization. Took a little while of head banging and then it was really simple.
I didn't learn it for a long time because I took warps past it, until I decided one day to actually go through each level for the heck of it.

Got through the speeder bike level two days ago co-op, it took John a couple of continues to stop dying on me.
Still can't land that plane though FUCK YOU. That game lies to you.
It is no small feat, newspapers have written articles on masters of the landing.
I wonder if I could get further in Battletoads now, I haven't tried in years.

I was cool with the speeder bikes, fuck the ice level, took me ages to master it.
I went through my NES carts the other day, played T2, I always wondered: why the fuck did I have to kill so many judges holding javelins at the start?

Yeah of the 9 levels I've played in NES Battletoads, the Ice Cavern is the hardest by far. I always warp past it because the level is so annoying, including the music. There's nothing fun about it.
