Thread: Favorite Publisher 2006-2012

  1. #1

    Favorite Publisher 2006-2012

This generation is just about in the books. Which publisher do you feel added the most to it? Feel free to include console, portable, computer, and mobile releases in your thought process.

If mods can go beyond 10 choices, I'd like to add Atlus as well.

Countdown to the de facto end of the console generation: 5 exclusives
Most recent: Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut (4/30)
Next up: The Last of Us (6/11)
Later: Puppeteer (9/10), Beyond: Two Souls (10/18), Rain (TBA), Until Dawn (TBA)

  2. Publishers are just moneybags. Why would I hold allegiance to one over another?

It's a good thing that wasn't the question you're supposed to answer.

edit: I am struggling to answer my own poll. Some of that is due to the acquisitions. The fact that SE has Eidos games now, Bethesda has id games, and EA has BioWare games really changes things from past generations. I technically should have called Activision "Activision Blizzard" even.

  4. You asked two different questions.
Atlus would be my favorite, but i dont think they added anything to this generation that wasnt available in the previous. That was clearly nintendo. Probably my least favorite publisher.

  5. No Atlus?

    Hurr, just saw your edit.

Who added the most to your enjoyment. That should be your favorite I would think. I just didn't want to write the same thing three times.

  7. Ahhh, okay. Well if Atlus gets added, they've got my vote.

  8. This thread sucks.
    Semen Everywhere!

  9. Then edit your OP, because thats not how it reads at all.

We also may be able to swap Atlus for Ubisoft. I'd say they are the least likely to draw votes out of the current group.
