Thread: Favorite Publisher 2006-2012

  1. #41
You forgot Team Fortress 2. The best multiplayer FPS ever.

  2. #42
You're actually right. I did. I had in my head that it was just the L4Ds, Portals, and HL2 Episodes. Damn it. WTB 12 poll options.

  3. It's funny I forgot that, because I was playing it last night. Team Fortress 2 is shit.

    This is very true.

Episode 2 - very well done super linear FPS where the enemies stand around while you kill them. Like Call of Duty, but worse in a lot of ways.
Portal - okay these are great
    Left 4 Dead - I dont care.

Needless to say I think Valve is highly overrated. Hopefully CS GO is legit.
    Steam - greatest thing ever
DOTA2 - will be the biggest game in the world in a few years

  6. Out of those choices, I'll take Capcom, I guess.
It's really just their fighting games that I like, though.
I'd likely go with Nintendo if I had a Wii and the Mario Galaxy games, since those seemed genuinely great from the hour or so I put into each.

  7. <3 Valve as online distribution agent, though. Steam is the only DRM I've ever seen done right.

    Fixed.

  9. Pork is my favourite vegetable.

Not such a good analogy. Vegetables can be good and vegetables can be bad. DRM can only be a certain degree of bad.
