Tarantino didn't do shit for this movie. They're just slapping his name on there to sell a few tickets.

I think they did the same thing when they released Ong-Bak in this country.

And Tom Yun Goon... it at least has his "Stamp of approval" which isn't as much as had he worked on it, but it's his boys RZA and Roth who he has worked with before a few times so it's cool. It's better than him not wanting anything to do with it.

I guess I'm looking at it like he put money into it... and he doesn't want to lose money.. if I were to put money into something it would mean I believed in it... but then again he's far from the independent filmmaking world he originally was from... I guess I like to be optimistic sometimes

After Kill Bill, do you really think Rza can't phone QT and ask whatever questions he wants? "A film made by someone who can call up Tarantino" is a better lead than a lot of filmmakers get, nevermind any further involvement.
