FFX is a pretty amazing piece of shit. I mean, it's like a game so evily shitty, the devil must have made it himself. I use the term game very loosely, as FFX isn't really a game even. Anyone who likes this game should be urinated on by dogs while being publicly beheaded at the same time.... and forced to watch gay porn as well. Well, any FFX fan is gay anyways, so I guess scratch that last one.

Eh, Im actually a Squaresoft fan. I even have that EGM issued FFX poster on my wall, but thats mainly because its Amanos (I think thats his name...? Im not sure anymore, during my hiatus Ive been living in a cave, and even went as far as to toss all of my game books.) work.

But to the point, I do not like this game. I ust cannot understand how anyone can play this and NOT want to just kick in the teeth of every character except for, maybe, the cool guy in red (Hey, its been a while)... Which is fine for some games, but in a game where the whole idea is to tell an interesting story, then we run into a problem. If I dont like some of these people, and just dont care about the rest, then I dont have too much incentive to play, do I?

Now this, obviously, is just my opinion. I felt the same way about FF VIII (BEFORE THE ECM REVIEW... Sheesh....), but I truly hate that in stallment of the series, as it doesnt even have great battle system to fall back on like X does. Which really brings me down to one last thing - Yeah, that battles system rocks, but thats not enough to get me to play through a game where I have to watch these characters do anything at all, much less play one where I actually have to hear Tidus' voice.

the run-away/yell thing? yeah... haven't tried it yet, but i don't think i have any sprint shoes... so that might be hard...

i actually beat Wiegraf by jumping him once, and then killing him with a counter-attack meatbone-slash... then Velius did Cyclops on all of my characters

Lucas: Well, yeah, sort of. I'm really more into an enthralling story than anything else. I don't mind games that are in both extremes(all story/no story), but I really love great,twisting stories, and so far FFX delivers on that aspect. Yeah, the game is linear, but that's alright with me.

Green: Hell yes I have!! I have an amassed collection of SF,KOF,and shmups that I play all the time(in fact, the most played game by me in my mall's arcade is Raiden Fighters). As I said above though, I'm more of the story lovin' kind of gamer; that's why RPG's are my passion(besides Adventure games that focus on story, that is), but of course I always play 2D fighters and shmups, just to keep things in contrast and balance.

Dragonmaster Dyne: So what if the game was hyped? It wasn't Square's fault, it was their fans that did it, and guess what? They lived up to the hype and more(at least for me). Please don't judge my taste of gaming based on two hyped games(you know what the other is).

EThugg: Alright, how about giving a "intellectual" response, instead of bashing it and threatening me with gay porn(if it's your collection, that's one HELL of a big threat). That's always the thing with you; you say something sucks but you don't justify your opinion. To me, you're just a lowly GamePro fanboy; saying this game "SuXxors!" or "RoxXors!" without explaining anything. A waste of time you are. Say something like that again, and fuck you up, I will.

Orochi: I have that same poster up in my room! Well, I do love FF8, but now playing FFX and then going back to 8, the battle system for 8 sucks. The over-reliance on GF's is horrible, although the rest of the game rocks.
