This Month's Haul - July, 2012

Took advantage of some amazon sales.
For $25, i got Bulletstorm, Mirrors edge, Burnout paradise complete box, mercenaries 2, the sabateur, and binary domain.

Mercenaries and saboteur cant be that bad. I thought most people liked Binary Domain.

The Saboteur might be the best open world game of this generation, especially if you're like me and don't care for the ridiculousness of Saints Row all that much, and Binary Domain is great so far. I haven't played Mercenaries 2, though it lacks the Indiana Jones and Han Solo unlocks from the original.

I got the same pack. I played the first 2 missions in Saboteur and actually liked it quite a bit.

Burnout Paradise is gimped on the PC. There is no way to get Big Surf Island or some of the premium car packs (like toys).

I had never played it before. The open world driving thing never appealed to me. I played it for a couple hours last night even though i was exhausted. $3 well spent imo. I will grab the ps3 version next time it is on sale.

I just played a shitload of the game on PS3 and was looking forward to going through it all again. I'll still play the PC version, as it still has about 80%-90% of the game, but the rest is really good. And the console games run at 60fps.

Mercenaries and saboteur cant be that bad.

Saboteur is awesome, but Mercenaries 2 is a glitchy mess. The original was LEAGUES better.

I rented Mercs 2 and it was total junk. I didn't even bother to install my copy. Just Cause 2 is the game Mercs 2 should've been.
