Full credit to Mzo for this thread idea
Which game do you feel is the best one to never get a sequel? Please try to steer clear of games that are so new that they couldn't possibly have one yet.
This is going to require some thought for me, but I'm really curious what others come up with.

I was going to address games like that, but I didn't expect it to come up so soon. I'm curious to see how many are truly unique games as opposed to a game in a larger series that didn't happen to get a direct sequel.
inb4 "This game's sequel was shitty so I don't count it."
Most of the games that I wanted sequels to got one this generation or last, like Sin and Punishment. There are plenty I would like sequels to and could still turn up (Bayonetta, God Hand, Vanquish, etc.), so I'm not real worried about those yet since they're still making good games that use elements from previous games.
The only one really striking me right now (though I'm sure someone will remind me of others) - besides Mzo's mention of Mirror's Edge - is Skygunner.
Eternal Darkness
Alien Soldier
Blast Corps
Clive Barker Undying
Downhill Domination
War of the Monsters

This was my favorite until today.
Well played, sir.
I don't think there's an official sequel to this game ;p

But that isn't my final answer! Undying is an awesome pick. I am going to think about it.
