Thread: Sega Genesis: The Superior Versions

I don't think I've actually seen the NTSC-J Multi-mega on ebay before. For that price though, I could get two complete Wondermegas, so screw that.

I'm not too surprised at the price considering how rare they are, but I definitely don't plan to get one.

  3. Damn. My Genesis is a US CDX. I didn't know the CDX was worth anything.

  4. Asian Multi-megas are way more scarce than CDXes, but yeah even the American CDX has retained its value well.

Cheebs: the value has risen quite a bit in the last few years. I sold a CDX for around $60 a few years back which was the low end of reasonable then, and I see them in the $100s often now.

  6. Just started playing Phantasy Star II for the second time. First time was back in the early 1990s (before FAQs), and I never could make it past the first dungeon because I didn't realize you could go back to your house at the start to get a third party member or that you could tell the girl Neil to fight instead of block all the time like she does by default.

Even knowing all that stuff now, this game is still kicking my ass. Gonna' have to grind this bitch out until I can afford some decent gear, and then dungeon #1 will finally be conquered twenty years after the initial failure!

My first Genesis game. Didn't have the hint guide that came with it originally. I beat my head off that game for years back in the day till I beat it. That music!
