And yeah, paypal is pretty rad about this stuff. They just send a paypal invoice to you with a description of the thing and you pay it. You even get a tracking number like ebay if they ship with paypal.
Joking aside, I barely use Craigslist since around here I am positive that 90% of small electronics listings are stolen goods. There have been lots of burglaries lately. Last time I used it was to buy a CRT TV from a dude in a rich white neighborhood, so I was pretty sure it wasn't stolen.
Too bad that the real owners of the house were away on vacation that week...

the biggest thing I hate about CL is how fucking flakey people are.
Mother fuckers will have the shit in the box, ready to ship to you, and just completely stop talking to you.

It's infuriating when someone can't just take 2 seconds to shoot you an email when there's a delay. I am super understanding and patient, but silence and not answering my emails will drive me crazy.
