Inintially, I was bummed because they're not playing it straight. I mean, there is no possible way it could ever be played straight. Not after what came before it. And the first movie was so great because of that feeling in the back of your head that yeah, this is really these guys trying to make a love/horror movie.

But then the trailer showed the bird .gif getting shot in half.

Faith restored. This will be fun, even though everybody involved knows exactly what they're making this time.
