N64 is rad. Its 3D platformers aren't often surpassed. I promise Rocket: Robot on Wheels will be better than Sly Cooper 3.
Sly Pooper imo
Wayne Gretzky 3D Hockey was my only N64 title for a month, no joke. I don't even like hockey and that game was pretty rad. I tried some later games that purported to be similar but nothing felt right.
Gretzky was the first 4-player game on the N64 for a long time.
I think Mario Kart was the next one and that wasn't out until February 1997.
OH YEAH, Mario Kart 64 and Diddy Kong Racing. Duh. How many are we up to now?
I bought Naboo Starfighter, which I think was made by the RS peeps but I have never, ever played it. My hatred of the new trilogy burns deep. It might be a good game.
Similarly, people swear by the N64 pod racing game.
OH Space Station Silicon Valley!
Earthbound 64 was pretty damn good.

Reminds me of the Halo 2 making-of where they showed the level maps they were making with testers playing and it color coded how long people spent in areas so they could figure out where people didn't know where to go next.
I was a little annoyed that I had to unlock the ability to turn off the game's horrendously overcompensating auto-aim that made me miss more shots then it helped. Nothing like trying to line up a rocket or grenade toss and the game literally takes over control of my view and shoves the camera sideways because a grunt happens to be nearby. Fuck you, game. They also improved the voice mixing from the original but it's still crazy bad with most of the lines being drowned out by everything else. Why are there no audio options at all? Voice/music/effects should be standard these days.
I did enjoy the new terminals, and bandanna + boom skulls is awesomely fun times. I killed myself a couple times before I figured out just how big the explosion radius was, it's kind of ridiculous.
